The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.
Relay For Life is a 24-hour walk to fight cancer in your community. At Relay we celebrate cancer survivors, remember those we've lost to cancer, and empower the community to fight back against cancer. Teams raise money before the event, then at the event, they camp out and walk, all the while enjoying the entertainment, games, food, and fun! Anyone can join, and it's a great way to join the fight against cancer.
